Best Friend Bunk

Mia and Bunk adore each other. They chase each other around the house ( Mia usually squealing) Bunk never bites or scratches her, he saves that for Shane.....There's nothing better than a best friend

After a series of attempts at trying on various costumes...........

We finally came upon one that Mia actually would wear (and if you can believe it liked)

Just to give you all a sense of what our new neighborhood is like....we bought 11 bags of candy and still ran out at 7:43.

Mia's new favorite activities include cooking, and cleaning

If you are cooking, you can be sure Mia wants to be"helpin" as she calls it. Below you'll see that even Bunk our cat is in on the action.I should have taken pictures of the end results of these "helpin" sessions.....puddles of water on the floor, flour all over the countertop and a cat with bubbles on his fur.....

South Carolina 2008

One of the benefits of travelling to South Carolina to visit with RA (Perrin's mom) and Annie is that we also get to visit with Perrin's cousin Perrin ( and her son Sam) Mia loved having a friend to hang out with during long walks around the City of Charleston.

Of course we went to the South Carolina Aquarium where Mia enjoyed seeing fish, holding horseshoe crabs and playing Captain of a boat.

South Carolina 2008

Mia and I love visiting South Carolina this year. Shane stayed home unfortunately. Since the weather was beautiful we spend a lot of time in the water. Mia continues act like she's a fish. RA bougth her a life jacket so she could take on the waves and and the tidalpools.

Afternoons were spent at RA's pool. Mia blows bubbles and is even gliding back and forth to people

We visited this great farm where there were animals to meet and pumkins to play on and of course great fresh food to take home

Mia rarely likes to sit still. Instead she wants to push her stroller or ride her tricycle or just explore

Mia has learned how to crawl up an sit on the chair in the office. If you have raisins she will stay in one place and supervise as you work on the computer

"Bunk" our new kitten is very patient with Mia. Mia is learning (though slowly) how to be nice
Shane and Bunk are kindred spirits, especially after a long day of being home with Mia
