Can you believe the first six weeks of my maternity leave are over? I was home for those weeks. Over the next six weeks, I'll be back working full time, but will be able to work from home or flexible hours.

Mia loves her floor gym. She can hold onto and bat the hanging toys now. The mirror that hangs above her captivates her attention for hours.

St Patrick's Day

Five weeks

At Mia's five week apt today, she weighed 10 lbs even and measured 22 inches. Despite a few sniffles, she's very healthy.

Funny story for you... Shane went to pick Mia up the other day and she started to cry because she wanted to stay in bed and watch her mobile instead of hang out with us.

B-day bang

There was a big bang last night to celebrate Mia's one month b-day... around 10:00 last night I awoke to a very loud sound and to find Shane rushing around trying to get ahold of our land lord and downstairs neighbors....

the loud bang= some of our pipes burst !

Mia's little sounds are so cute that daddy has decided to dub her "squeak" Mommy likes this much better than Butch!

Miss Amelia turns one month

Greetings....at our last doctor's apt, Amelia ( or Mia as we are calling her) weighed close to nine pounds. She's growing so quickly. We can't believe how quickly time seems to pass these days.
